Pipedrive stalled-deal alerts without the Growth plan

Deal rotting turns deals red — if you happen to open Pipedrive. Getting actually notified requires Automations on Growth and up. Here's how to get proactive stalled-deal alerts on any plan.

Product and pricing facts last verified August 2026. Competitor plans change — check their sites for current details.

The gap between “rotting” and being told about it

Pipedrive's deal-rotting feature does one thing: after a deal sits untouched past your threshold, it turns red in the pipeline view. That's useful — if someone is looking at the pipeline view. Nobody gets pinged. The deal that's been quietly dying in Negotiation for three weeks stays invisible until your next pipeline review.

To convert rotting into a notification, Pipedrive requires an Automation — and Automations are gated to the Growth plan (formerly Advanced) and higher. On Lite, there is no path at all: no automations, no conditional notifications, no rotting alerts. Even on Growth, you get a single binary trigger — rotten or not — with the filtering, formatting, and escalation logic left for you to assemble.

How Nyphex Alerts handles stalled deals

  • Three escalating thresholds — for example, a warning at 7 days in stage, critical at 14, urgent at 21 — so a deal that just slowed down reads differently from one that's genuinely stuck.
  • Delivered where your team already is — Slack, Google Chat, or email on Starter; Microsoft Teams on Pro. Nobody has to remember to open the pipeline view.
  • Noise-controlled by design — a stalled deal re-alerts on an interval, not every scan; quiet hours and deduplication apply to stalled alerts like everything else.
  • Alongside the rest of your pipeline signal — win/loss, stage changes, stage regressions, overdue deals, activity gaps, and a weekly digest, all from one WHEN/IF/THEN rule engine.

Frequently asked questions

Does Pipedrive notify me when a deal is rotting?

Not by itself. Deal rotting marks deals red inside the pipeline view — you only see it when you open Pipedrive. To get an actual notification (in Slack or by email) you need an Automation with a rotting trigger, and Automations require the Growth plan or higher. On Lite there is no automation path at all.

How is Nyphex Alerts different from Pipedrive deal rotting?

Three ways: it is proactive (the alert comes to Slack, Google Chat, or email — nobody has to open Pipedrive), it has three escalating thresholds (warning, critical, urgent — e.g. 7, 14, and 21 days in stage) instead of one binary rotten flag, and it works on every Pipedrive plan, including Lite.

What does it cost?

Stalled-deal alerts are on the Starter plan at $15/month flat for your whole workspace — not per seat. The free plan includes win/loss, stage-change, and overdue alerts to Google Chat, so you can verify the connection works before paying anything.

Does this require admin access or code?

No code. You connect Pipedrive over OAuth (your credentials stay with Pipedrive), add a webhook URL for your chat tool, and pick a rule template. Setup takes about two minutes.
